So much bad news. 644mb-->911mb! And timers. And expensive IAPs. And frame rate issues. Eh. Maybe I'll just download that old Ironman flying game from the first film instead of this. It was just over 30mb I think. No IAP. Hope Gameloft starts offering games for a set price alongside their free counterparts. I used to enjoy their games before they all became free and 1-2GB! Timers are almost always insta-No to me, but i'll give this one more patience as i was looking forward to this title too much only to turn away from it too quick. It is as i feared though, i was talking with a friend last week about the freemium model that Iron Man 3 may use, and we did talk about timers, and how iOS gaming will be ruined by it. The big-wigs are now starting to abuse the use of timers and it's nauseating. The only game i played a lot which had timers was Injustice, only because the timers can be countered by having lots of characters, which i realized too early that i gave the game a chance and it turned out i was right, and despite the simplicity, i had a great deal of enjoyment from it. Hopefully, i could find a way to counter the timers in this one. Crossing fingers. But i have to say... **** you Gameloft for adding in timers to things that i really like. Sanuku Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2009 11,954 4 38 Austria http://www.touchgameplay.com #19 Sanuku, Apr 24, 2013 I`m unsure if Gameloft is really aware of what is right now happening. We have a Video Game with probably one of the strongest Franchise on the Market and it`s just plain and simple bad with a shitload of issues at the current Moment (1.0.0). Framerate Drops through the hole Game, even in the freaking Menu if you quickly turn your Iron Man around the Frams seem to drop down as badly as I could think of it. A Control System that is struggling through the hole Gameplay itself where often (probably because of those Lags that you are getting on a regular base) the Game doesn`t realize that you have tapped the Screen and simple doesn`t move Stark from left to right. I really hope that Gameloft will have a Day One Patch because at the current Moment we have a Runner Game that couldn`t be worse. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 721 113 England #20 psj3809, Apr 24, 2013 Timers really ? Who on earth at Gameloft thinks timers are good ? I must admit the only thing timers do is make games with IAP's dont seem as bad ! Now games with IAPs AND timers, its depressing. I can see why games might have IAP's, you make a lot of money that way, but timers ? Just dont get why companies are using those. To me timers are even worse than IAP's ! I have 500+ apps on my device, if i find a game with timers i simply forget that game and move onto the next one so they lose my business. Staying away from yet another Gameloft game, first DH4 and now this, think i'm going to avoid Gameloft 100%, and to think i used to buy all their games two years ago (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
