The previous ITA titles have been GREAT. Can't wait to get into this one! Better yet, it's universal, AND supports widescreen. =oD undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,486 2 36 Houston, TX #6 undeadcow, Mar 4, 2013 Last edited: Mar 4, 2013 More of the same; which mean it's fun and very easy to recommend. There is a map used for level selection, which is a nice touch; that spawns additional side "missions" (for example, if you fail a level an easy mission will spawn to help bump you up). There are also "daily" side missions with higher rewards that spawn daily. The additional missions and deviating level selection system is a nice upgrade. Survival and challenge levels that randomly pop up really add a lot to Infect Them All Zombies 2. There is a new "tower" mode with a seemingly endless series of 10 level floors that I haven't explored much yet. The widescreen support and retina graphics are great and really pop. So far this seems more like a remake of Infect Them All Zombies than a true sequel but it's worth $0.99. Initially stages and enemies are very similar to ITE:Z 1 but after a while some of the levels get really packed. There's not a lot of new enemies and even the "Van Helsing" character from ITA: Vampires seems cheaply/comically recycled trying to stake zombies. The new capability to switch zombie character mid-game is much appreciated (hopefully ITA: Vampires gets updated with this). One cool new feature is an upgrade that allows you two start the game out with multiple "champion" zombies so in part you're just selecting which one to control. You start out with zombie Micky, from ITA:Z 1 (downloading ITA:Z 2 also unlocks Micky in Vampires) and unlock additional characters by infecting select/rare ones in campaign. Pumpkinhead zombie, Super Zombie (IAP), pony tail girl zombie, and fat zombie all seem to re-appear from ITA: Z 1 (but no Robo-Zombie, a ITA:Z 1 bonus for downloading ITA: V) with the addition of 3 new zombies. Each zombie has it's own skill development tree. There is some optional IAP for in-game currency but the game throws that at you as is. Also IAP for a coin doubler ($1.99) and Super Zombie character (same as original ITA). But it seems good idea adding some option for that undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,486 2 36 Houston, TX #11 undeadcow, Mar 4, 2013 Hopefully you will consider adding toggle for starting minions/allys and more diverse enemy characters in a future update. Otherwise Infect Them All: Zombies 2 is a solid game that's a lot of fun. Thanks for the quick response. The content of the screenshots capture the gameplay well (joystick zombie to munch humans, use special abilities to convert humans to zombies and swarm). Otherwise, as someone else said, feels more like a refinement/remake of the original than a sequel.
