Was just about to add this. Great game the v stick controls are better with sensitive to 1 (for now till crazy enemies) question with missiles there seems to be a pause after launching one is that suppose to happen?
Basically as long as there's one missile tackling one enemy, you can't launch more missiles at it. But you can target and shoot at multiple enemies at the same time. How many enemies you can target at once depends on the electronics upgrade, which in the later stages enables more contemporary locks. About the controls, are you using arcade or simulator mode? The latter feels definitely slower. Thanks for the feedback 8)
I never played the first one seen it but didn't think to get it guess I came in to late to the iOS but I hope this is not your swan song. I hope this gets lots of noticed
I hope so too.. we're doing our best. We're a supersmall dev studio. It's basically me (Davide) working full-time from home, doing programming etc., and a part time partner that does the art, level design, tuning, etc. Hopefully we can grow into at least a small size team
K... I just cleared the Class 2 world, and advanced to the Class 3 stages... Great freakn game, but a bit short... Any chance more classes will be added in the future?
wow.. ok.. I hope it was this quick because you're an experienced player ! We're already working on additional content for the 1.1 ..new worlds, and stronger player ships. Updates 'R' Us ! (well ok, at least a couple, I guess )
Had a quick go, very impressive. Love the graphics, filesize is very good, so you can only fire a missile when you're locked on ? Was hoping there would be a 'gun' type button but perhaps thats something later. Seems to be a wide range of upgrades and missions, looking forward to trying this out more later. LOVE Afterburner in the arcade and this seems a nice nod to that type of game
Thanks for the support guys.. wow we already have a gameplay video.. awesome d(^o^) @psj3809: being a "fire and forget" missiles-only game is the one thing that we didn't improve over the previous title. It would be nice to finally add some alternative weapons, but that hasn't been planned yet.. it would definitely be an interesting addition (and pretty much an expected feature for flight combat games ) Yeah, After Burner was definitely a major source of inspiration
=oP Sorry... I think that might be the case, looking at the leaderboards, there's not many people... And I'm still the only person on the Sadland world board. =oP So yeah, I'm thinking that might be the case. I loved, and still love the original FC. Last time I played it was last week. =oP Anywho... LOVING the new tweaks and everything. Especially the upgrade system! And don't feel rushed by the few like me (obsessed with FC) - because you know we're gonna play through and then go back and battle it out for scores. Even if no more levels are added, this is Fractal Combat... And FREE! This weekend I should be getting another GiftCard, gonna go ahead and purchase some currency (to anyone wondering, it's not because you'll need it, but because I absolutely ADORE this game).
