First impressions are very good. Awesome scenery, nice animations, good voice overs. I'm only a few puzzles in, and a bit stuck already but I didn't try that hard to solve it yet. Not sure if there are hints but I tend not to use them in adventures (call me old-skool, or just old). For the price it's a serious bargain! Similar to any other existing games? Screens look pretty good and Universal as well! And, might I add, looking mighty awesome! Surprised it hasn't generated a bigger hype. In between this, three games bought at sale prices tonight, Ravensword: Shadowlands, possibly Anomaly Korea, and the Humble Indie Bundle 7 that had the disrespectful disregard to launch on an already awesome night, I hardly know even what game to launch first... This week is just crazy good for releases. It reminds me a lot of the classic LucasArts games, and not only because it has a similar Caribbean feel to Monkey Island. The graphics are great, the way the puzzles are unfolding is nice (several going at once so you don't get stuck on one thing) and both the graphics and the voice acting are top notch. This seems like a total bargain. I'm curious how long it is, but with a game this good, even a couple of hours' playtime will be well worth it. Cheers. Played this one on PC. Highly recommended. This has always been kind of an under-the-radar game for some reason, although I believe it did get some awards or at least good reviews. Looking forward to episode 2. Hobbsicle Well-Known Member Feb 28, 2011 216 0 16 #20 Hobbsicle, Dec 20, 2012 If I remember right, it's pretty comparable to the length of a Telltale game episode. Maybe even a touch longer? Regardless, definitely worth more than 99 cents. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
