I will put the same time into this as some put into Skyrim, and is worth so much more. If you have an idevice, buy this. DC1 was my #1 game for over a year. Again, buy this! Only wish I could have had It sooner! The devolpers are amazing, they read and listen to users on here and there forums. They added so much content to the first, and know try will follow suite. You can tell they make these out of passion, not profit. Also, there is IAP, but is 100% optional. From the first, a ton of people asked for IAP to support the devs more with how much they put into the game. They have said this will be the same and is beatable without paying any real money. Can't wait! Spardian Member Dec 28, 2010 11 0 0 #5 Spardian, May 23, 2012 Yep, this will be amazing. I'll be buying all the IAP to support the developer, they deserve it. ArtNJ Well-Known Member Jul 13, 2009 3,212 29 48 New Jersey #6 ArtNJ, May 23, 2012 Dissenting voice...based on the first one and the previews, this will be a good rpg/tower defense game, but I dont see it as genre expanding, and if you have never enjoyed a rpg/tower defense game, dont get this one. Yes, the approach to the levels is different, and yes the rpg elements are much better done than the norm, but that may not be enough if you have never liked the genre at all. I enjoyed the first one and plan to get the game, just saying that the impression of universal love could be misinterpreted by some. Plast2 Well-Known Member Aug 17, 2009 464 0 0 #7 Plast2, May 23, 2012 It would be very tremendously helpful if you would share your opinion and findings (good or bad) after you've played the game. That way we have, as you say, dissenting voices sharing in. Not that all the many "We bloody love the game!" comments doesn't make everyone smile from ear to ear (especially us), but to make DC2 better in the long run... Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #8 Gunlock, May 23, 2012 Defender Chronicles is still on my 3GS since I bought it over 2 years ago. Since then hundreds of games went through my iPhone and only a couple of them stayed installed so long. So the sequel is a must-buy for me. And three bucks? Sir, yes sir! Plast2 Well-Known Member Aug 17, 2009 464 0 0 #9 Plast2, May 23, 2012 The thing is, Diablo 3 is overshadowing everything right now. The 2 weeks period in-between should probably have been 2 months, but such is life - But can only agree; $2.99 is a very small price to pay for hundreds of hours of gameplay. And true enough: During beta testing only two members from our test group actually had access to the IAP items. They ARE completely optional, You do not NEED them to get the FULL DC2 game experience. They are there for a bit of extra fun, should you want it, nothing more. lucrezio87 Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2010 337 0 0 Italy #10 lucrezio87, May 23, 2012 Last edited: May 23, 2012 So in Europe will be out about at 00.00of 24?!? Gimka, is there any chance we'll eventually be able to issue these challenges via DC2/GameCenter as well, with accompanying push notifications?
