In addition to this, I just found out the devs of Zombie Gunship are the same devs of Tower Madness. If you somehow don't know, Tower Madness has gone free 9 freaking times. I really shouldn't push it, but FAAD's track record of overhyping their worse stuff and underhyping their good stuff is just too frustrating. Those were free in the past. Don't anticipate them going free again so soon.
It's all relative, some people will love some apps others will hate them...I loved Galcon for instance but others did not like it as much.... just relax and hope that we'll pull off some great stuff in December, and I think you'll be satisfied!
It is not about the quality of the games. It's the hype that is put into them. There probably is some business aspect to it (some developers pay you guys more than others probably), so I guess I can't really whine about it. But seriously, I remember when critically acclaimed Fastar! went free thanks to you guys just weeks after it was Top 25. But you guys barely tried to stir up any fanfare. Weeks later, on a much worse app, you guys hyped it up SO much. And if Zombie Gunship, a former Top 25 app that is filled with iAPs and made by a developer who constantly makes their other apps go free, gets so much hype, got this much hype, it's unfair for Fastar! and some other great games (like Puzzle Quest, for example).
Its 5pm on 6 Dec here... and no news. Looks like someone's messed up the international time-frames with their announcement.
That's not I am T-Pain....the app launches sometimes late tomorrow on the 6th...and there's a bunch of other hot ones in the line up...
Starting to feel bad for ICS Mobile having to listen to all the negativity from these forum kiddies! You don't have to take advantage of free apps if you don't want to.
