Your close to my guess, which is Hanging with Friends. WwF is probly a lil on the 'way too big' side to go free, similar to angry birds, but i think HwF is more of a possibility. Plus, hanging with friends has been #1 several times in 2011, but hasn't been as consistent as WwF. Either way, I don't own either of them (lol) so if one of them goes free I have no qualms with that
It's going to be more than one top of the big one previously announced more big ones are lined up...just happened in the past few days..I was shocked myself!!
You are not the only one, sir! I have been scared away due to the seeming lack of actual gameplay. Love the look of it, though.
Alright how about a little hint? Has anyone mentioned the game in the thread at all? All you have to say is yes or no cuz that doesn't give it away much since a TON of games were listed!
yup same here. Was about to buy during the Summer's 99 cent sale, but heard there's no real gameplay, just walking around.
Exactly, I LOVE the look and may possibly love the gameplay too if someone could actually describe it to me without saying "You just have to experience it yourself." I need just an ounce of something more in a description for me to purchase... If it doesn't go free I'll definitely pick it up the next $0.99 sale...
I would like to revise my theory and change my answer from 'Zombie Gunship' to 'Where's My Water.' Since they're doing that Facebook promotion and all.
Now that our daughter's getting an iPad for Christmas, I think a Civ Rev for iPad would be a great followup. Could be a number of things - titles, big or not, have nothing to lose except ranking position - so which titles were #1 in the app store this year but are no longer on the charts?
Are you kidding me? Puzzle Quest Chapters 1+2 was free. If you disagree that that title fell flat, then you have no appreciation for good RPG-puzzle games.
Woah, woah. Yeah, Puzzle Quest is a great game. But we're talking about these big teases FAAD comes up with- they all fall short of anything great. Puzzle Quest, funnily enough, didn't have too much hype around it, but a lot of far worse games get much more publicity from FAAD. I'm not sure if it's how much the devs pay them or something, but the FAAD hype train certainly has never proven itself right thus far.
I distinctly remember one of the big things (or at least decently big) twitter hypes FAAD had, in which they promised three 'top 25 games' or at least former top 25. The first 2 where alright, but the 3rd one was awesome. Bejeweled went free in that giveaway...
