Its very smooth, very nice graphics, very polished, to me reminds me slightly of Sonic (when you spin) as youre obviously in a circle The 'difference' here is that you pick up these 'aliens' for different powers, eg one makes you jump higher, another makes you fire, another makes you break through an ice barrier. I've only had a few goes but basically i keep forgetting what icon does what as its not that obvious. So if i see a 'baddie' i have to remember to press the icon to fire. I had a quick go this morning and the icons do 'flash' so perhaps thats a type of hint. I actually wish it was just the controls/jump/fire and none of this 'press the correct alien' for the weapon/jumping ability etc. I can see why theyve tried to do something different but i think it would have worked better with just the standard controls, you shoot at ice and it breaks, double tap jump and you go higher etc, instead of all these aliens you 'bind' with one at a time. Bought it for my kids but I like these games too so gave it a quick spin. And........my kids like it from what they played and I myself dig it as well.
