Freaking gorgeous -- in fact, it looks pretty darn close to the Mac/PC version. The framerate is surprisingly good, and the controls could very well be slightly better than on the Mac, since manipulating objects feels a bit more natural on a touch screen than with a mouse. The only concern I have is that sometimes an object you need to move ends up under one of the screen controls, which means you have to move around a bit to complete the task -- not a big deal. I just spent about 20 minutes playing level one in the free version and I'm blown away. Visually stunning, the music is gorgeous, controls are very good, and the story will pull you in. Very nice, I cant believe I'll be getting this for a dollar. I haven't been as captivated on the iOS since Lara Croft. You control Nyx, who is looking for her lost love Icarus. The earth is a barren land. You alternate between walking and flying but you only have strength to beat your wings 5 times before resting. It's a side scrolling platformer and halfway through the first level you are gifted with the ability to control objects (pillars, towers and such). As you weave through mazes of burning sand and crushing platforms you need to avoid the harpies which you are currently defenseless to. For the price this is a no-brainer. Awesome at $5!
