I'll also be picking up Gesundheit, Mad Wheels and Marbians tonight. By the way, the utterly fabulous Cordy released this morning (bought £2.99 IAP to get full game). syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #8 syntheticvoid, Jul 27, 2011 awesome, thank you for bringing up Cordy!! I'm definitely wanting it. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #12 squarezero, Jul 27, 2011 Last edited: Jul 27, 2011 Cordy is indeed awesome, though the jumping is a bit floaty (a trait it shares with LBP). This is instabuy for me too, though I understand the "wait for a sale sentiment. Case in point: the so-far excellent helicopter combat game C.H.A.O.S. went from $9.99 to free in one day. Now, as it happens, I'm not a huge fan of aerial dogfight games, so I ended up waiting long enough to get it for zip. But I'm sure if I'd paid the full fare I'd be a bit miffed. These days, I go by this rule: if it's a game that really and truly speaks to me (a favorite genre, great polish, etc) I'll pick it up at launch with no regrets. If the price drops, I'll think of the additional expense as a well-deserved contribution to the dev. Anything I'm just curious about, I'll hold off till there's a lite or a sale. shyguy3 Well-Known Member Sep 18, 2010 628 0 0 #13 shyguy3, Jul 27, 2011 I am soooooooooooooooooooooo getting this tonight. This is a totally polished game. I've played a few levels on line and for $2.99 this is steal. Waiting for price to drop to 99 cents?!?!?! Simon Potticary Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2010 800 0 16 Writer East London #15 Simon Potticary, Jul 27, 2011 I totally agree with you dude, I adopt the exact same philosophy. If there's a game I really want, I'll grab it without delay. If it drops in price later down the line, I consider the extra expense as a small premium for having the game before all the bargain hunters who waited. There's also the fact that my money may be going to small and/or up-and-coming indie developers who need financial support. I guess I'm of the 'glass half full' persuasion huh? Getting back on topic, I do indeed really want Roboto, so I'll be handing over my money on the stroke of midnight, without hesitation. By the way, Cordy is a minor masterpiece and translates beautifully onto the iPad, so there's another £2.99 ($4.99) very well spent. Peace out! Wanted Cordy, but not compatible with my iPod Touch 2G. This looks awesome too so I hope I don't have to miss out on this one as well.
