Hi folks, One of our users (and a $10 iTunes giftcard recipient, see below) suggested I post here, so I hope you don't mind the crash commercial message. But we are a bit voyeuristic! We have literally tens of thousands of users, so we were curious as to how they're using our app. So we've been running a contest where users make a video showing how they use 100sounds, and we send them a $10 iTunes e-giftcard (U.S. store) for their trouble. It's a great deal, but it ends after 100 videos have been received ($1,000 giveaway) or the app has been available for 100 days (that means March 12). Seems like a no brainer... buy a $0.99 app, spend a couple of minutes w/ a videocamera (or video-capable phone... argh!) and get $10. But we still have hundreds of dollars to give away, and it looks like we'll reach the date deadline before 100 videos are sent in. Maybe people don't think it's for real, but it is, as several users here can attest. Now, I only have a couple (literally two) promo codes left, so I can hand out those to two of you IF YOU PROMISE TO SEND A VIDEO, but we submitted an update on Sunday so perhaps we'll get some more codes soon. Even without a code, it's $9 profit. BTW, the update adds the ability to download hundreds of the sounds for use as ringtones, a common request. No increase in price...still $0.99!
