Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness. Pocket RPG is a dual-stick action dungeon-crawler. In it you can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style. The Dark Ranger uses his bow and arrows to assault enemies from a distance. The Blade Master gets up close and personal with a powerful arsenal of melee weapons. The Battle Mage uses her powerful spells to deal damage to the enemies and attack their weak points. You'll accompany one of these warriors on their journey to bring peace to the land by clearing out areas of monsters, one quest at a time. Each time you finish a quest, the levels you've gained and the equipment you've gathered will be converted into resources you can use to upgrade your character, expanding their abilities and strengthening their powers. You'll need all the help you can get. The dungeons, sewers, forests, and other environments you'll explore may have a lot of treasure to find, but they're also packed with huge crowds of vicious fiends. Use everything you have at your disposal to dispatch these wicked threats and ensure the forces of good are victorious. Pick from the agile Dark Ranger, the stalwart Blade Master, or the crafty Battle Mage. Each character requires a different battle strategy. Find the one that is best for you! Find new weapons, accessories, and equipment to aid you on your quest. Load up on coins to buy what you need from the shopkeeper. Collect potions to give you temporary boosts that will give you the edge in battle! The dungeons are teeming with tons of terrible creatures, all of them looking to have you for lunch. Slimes, golems, ogres, and more are waiting to ruin your day. You'll have to do some serious crowd control! Features: - Random level generation. - Amazing stylized 3D environments, monsters and characters. - 3 Character classes 3 different playing styles. - Dual stick for moving and attacks. - Automatic skills/stat progression based on the items your character equips. - Lots of Looting. - Swarms of creatures to take out with devastating combo moves. - Boss encounters. ************************************************** GameClub is a subscription mobile gaming service. I love these sort of games, and yours looks great, but the controls look static and cumbersome. Is it possible to move the location of these controls to a more natural position further up the left and right side of the screen? As reference for what I am talking about, Dungeon Hunter 2 made it so you can move the virtual joystick to a comfortable position. Although, the best setup I've seen is like FF3 on iOS, where the joystick shows up only where you touch. Are there any customizations like this in your game? Or are the virtual joysticks statically placed in the bottom corners of the screen? Your game looks great, and I'm looking forward to playing it! Thanks! studepaber007 Well-Known Member Jan 26, 2011 330 0 0 Ohio #13 studepaber007, Jul 13, 2011 I will probably get this tomorrow but am wondering if this game brings anything new to the table? Seems to remind me of Pocket Legends (minus multiplayer but with the classes and cartoonish look). How's the loot, plentiful? Are you able to get rares, epics, etc., how many weapon and armor slots do you get? Also what's the max level capped at, anything to do once you beat all the bosses? Again probably a buy for me, just have a few questions first if anyone can answer JoshCM Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2009 4,250 23 38 Game Designer Upstate NY http://www.crescentmoongames.com #14 JoshCM, Jul 13, 2011 in the options theres an 'advanced mode' that lets you have the sticks wherever your thumbs land on the screen. awthaye New Member Jul 13, 2011 3 0 0 #15 awthaye, Jul 13, 2011 Awesome!!!!! Also, how random is the loot? Are there almost unlimited varieties of weapons & armor (different powers, etc)? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #17 squarezero, Jul 13, 2011 Last edited: Jul 13, 2011 The game play unlike anything we've seen so far in the App Store -- think an action game combined with rogue-like. I guess it's closest to Solomon's Keep, but the way it handles leveling and randomization is very different. Not to mention that the visual polish is in another scale altogether. There's a ridiculous amount of loot, but, again, the way it's handled is unlike anything I've seen on iOS (or anywhere else, for that matter). The whole thing is designed to keep gameplay fresh at all times. It's not so much about building up a character as it is about building up the potential of the character. Personally I think it's awesome, but when it comes to CM games I'm not an unbiased observer. I think I'm looking forward to this more than any of the other releases tonight thanks to all the mentioned features(especially randomization for added replayability). The long wait is almost over.
