So...any thoughts to updating this great game? I would like to offer a few suggestions to EVERPLAY that I would be inclined to pay for via IAP or sequel, if implemented. 1) A mode where the graphics are updated to appear more modern by having smooth edges and not retro themed. 2) The player earns additional points for successful high risk Y-axis moves that avoid death. 3) The player earns additional points for consecutive successful Y-axis moves. 4) After dying, display the players cumulative stats in a table showing what they were killed by and how many times. i.e. # of Deaths: Killed by: 631 Laser 326 Rocket 420 Flame (or drill?cant tell) 134 Spike 203 Saw Blade Btw, I Get a kick out of the little sayings that appear after dying and would love to see more.
Just a quick question: is the only difference between the paid and free version no ads? Or are there more obsticals, modes, Ect?
I haven't posted on this thread yet and its on the of the greatest arcade games I have installed. Amazing arena combat with excellent controls, hectic, difficult, more difficult, unlockables characters the old fashion way, by playing, NO IAP, great pixel art and music, pure gameplay,... One of the best games on the AppStore 5 out of 5 stars. A must have. Unmissable. Will never leave my iPhone. Best game from CookieBit (Leaping Legends and Miner Problem developer).
Finally remembered about this game. Wow, it's crazy and awesome, I love it. Will be getting the paid version when I have $$ What are the differences between characters?
Haha, yeah man you reminded me to install this again too Would anyone out there have the time and energy to make a list of other good iOS games like this? I mean bite sized mini game type things, with ultra simple controls (3 buttons or less), mindless but skill based frantic and fast, and things to upgrade (persistent or just per replay)... Here's some starters on my iThingies:- Slayin Catch 22 Dead pixel Spin up Half inch heist The blocks cometh Bit dungeon Apcatrapz ..that kind of thing. I'm sure I've missed a load of good stuff ...hmmm maybe I should put this in another thread :-D Edit: I just thought of badland... But I don't really mean that one touch up/down affair. Tho badland is utterly amazing and easily one of my top 10 (even 5) games ever. So yeah you get the idea !
Ironically, that's exactly how I remembered about the game. We were discussing these kinds of games in this thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=208401 Definitely post your recommendations there too
Noticed that this game was on the endangered 32 bit list and unlikely to be updated. Thought I'd give it one last hurrah, as it really is one of my favourites in the 'Quick Fun Super Hard' genre of twitchy high scorers. Hurrah!
