This is a very fast paced, almost frantic game, you can feel the tension of the clock ticking down on you, and it feels a lot like tiny wings in that sense more than say Jet Pack Joyride, as you are always feeling like time is catching up with you from behind. Personally, although I get the appeal and understand the 5 star rating, I miss the contemplative strategy that you get in a game like Dungeon Raid or Puzzle Quest. That said, although I wish I could slow the game down, the leveling treadmill does interest me enough to keep trying to play and see what else I unlock. But I suspect that like Jet Pack Joyride and other endless runners, my reflexes are not fast enough (hence my penchant for TBS over RTS), and I will hit a wall before seeing everything the game has to offer. Still, I suspect I will get more than $2 of value out of it.
Thanks for this find! I have been playing all day! I am up to 4.4M, no need for stone and wood anymore but the amulet feature allows me to transform them into exp and gold. I like that! Great game so far and based on time played in one day, greatly addictive. Not sure if ill keep playing once all upgraded and 10M achieved. Depends what happens after that i guess?
talking about diamonds in the rough, where in the h e double hockey stick did this game come from.... If dungeon raid, chuzzle,a nintendo game and jetpack joyride (for the missions) had a 4 some = this is the baby that would come from it... everything about it rocks, and i have to agree with hodapp the icon and name is so foul, this is the ugly duckling that turns into a swan LOL!
It is actually a uber fase game .... Very different from DR, even the mechanism is not a Classic match3

It looks great enough to play even in real time, but imagine how great a turn-based version could be. You could take practically the same model, just wait for player actions but tweak the difficulty. Call it 10000001.
what rock have you been hiding under, this game is game of the year so far for me its so awesome, sooooooo what happens when you hit 10million does the game end or something lol, i cant stop playing its so amazing....and the chiptune music is awesome as hell, amazing game just amazing
I'm playing on 3GS and having the bug where I can't choose my difficulty level so I'm stuck playing "Rookie" over and over. Looks like an awesome game if it would actually work for me. Glad I didn't pay for it, at least.
Is this a true full screen on ipad universal game or my pet hate, iphone retina pretending to be univeral with a border all the way around? ( I'm looking at you Tiny Tower, Pocket Planes and some of the Donut Games )
it actually fills up most of the screen there is a border around edges but you dont see the time or anything, i think it would look strange if it was stretched on full ipad with the 8bit graphics. but its not like 2x zoom or something , its perfect actually.
