leaderboard? I achieved freedom today. Great game, I really like it. Usually I dont go for these type of matching apps but this one had me hooked. After you are free, the game posts some statistics about game time, monsters killed, etc. Is there a leader board for this kind of stuff? It does not appear to be a game center app. FYI my time in dungeon was 7:54:57. Kevin
Not GC yet, I think the Dev said hoping to add in future release. I think my time was about 6-1/2 hours, roughly, and others here had times in the high 5s if I remember correctly.
Took me a few min to figure out to watch the credits to get my time... 5:33 total time spent playing the game. That includes time after hitting 10000000. I still have one last mission.
3:19 (and that includes a lot of playing after winning?) Well looks like I breezed through too easily. It was an amazing journey though. 10000000 was quite a game.
Up on Steam Game is up on Steam now, and on sale for launch! http://store.steampowered.com/app/227580/ Also, if you're wondering about updates, check his blog: http://eightyeightgames.com/blog/ I'm admittedly godawful at this game, but I bought it (on Steam) in hope I can improve and to support the dev. Experience is great on the Mac!
I feel like I'm a bit late to the party. This felt more like a movie than a game to me, in that I downloaded it, and then played it, stopping only to sleep, until it was done. 3:35 in total. For some reason I had seen earlier reviews, identified that it was the Chuzzle mechanic rather than the Dungeon Raid mechanic, and concluded that I wouldn't like it as much. Which was obviously completely wrong and stupid of me. Obviously I'd like more, but in another sense I'm not sure I would: part of what's good about this game is that *just as it dawns on you that this is the pure essence of a pointless grindfest*, you're done. Cf Puzzle Craft, where my hindbrain seems to have gone 'hey, I'm grinding here', just a little bit before the end. Hrrm. Or Dungeon Raid, where I never really felt that way, perhaps because of the class upgrades?
It feels good indeed to finish a game that has a real ending. Doesn't seem to be common nowadays, it's more endless grinding with no real end goal.
Well no real end in those other games except to try and get the gamer to buy IAP. I like how I didn't have to commit my life to1000000. It was good fun and worth my buck or whatever I paid.
I can't believe such a successful game hasn't received any of the promised updates?! It was launched in July, one small update in August, and then nothing for six months.
I finally bought this after being tempted for a while - and I played for two hours straight, no exaggeration. I'm kind of bummed to see that it does have an end - if I played that much in one day, it might be over soon. Is there any kind of "infinite" mode?
Any word on the update? I really want to get back to playing this gem but am waiting for the (hopefully still planned) new stuff.
I guess this is spoilers so Spoiler after the game ends you can keep on playing, so it has an infinite amount of play since you can keep going for high scores
Beat it for the first timewith a time in dungeon of 2:27. Pretty short, but the game is fine for what it was. I'd like to see something new from the developer instead of an update.
