I love the name. The icon I'm neutral about. The name as it is sets the focus on the goal. Not the character's goal, the player's goal. He needs to hit 10 million.
Well, I don't know what to tell you. I guess its possible I was playing a lot more then I realized, but it didn't take me that long to unlock everything. Certainly less then a week, and certainly it didn't feel like it was taking a long time. There are 90 unlocks and you can get three per game. If each game lasts about 15 minutes, you can unlock everything in about 22 hours. Faster if you quit the game after the third unlock. Perhaps it did take longer the 10 hours, but, all I can say is that I never felt like I was grinding just to unlock things. I was always playing because it was fun, and the unlocks were an added bonus. My feeling about 10000000 is that it is a good game, but that it doesn't compare to DR, because of the time element. DR is a strategic game where you can set up series of moves in order to maximize your score. 10M is all about moving fast. Its fun, but not as thoughtful. IMO.
I feel like I'm playing a different game, because I rarely get even one unlock per game, much less 3. It usually takes me 5-10 games to get a single unlock (hard difficulty, if that matters). The games are easily 15+ minutes each.
I'd say my Dungeon Raid games averaged about six hours (~1200 turns at five turns per minute), and I wasn't getting three unlocks per game, it was less than that. So I'd say at least 300 hours to unlock the game features, probably more. Much of that playing with the same choices over and over because I'm not unlocking new options fast enough. I don't see how you could possibly play a game of DR in anything close to 15 minutes. Most turns might be less than 12 seconds, but then sometimes I do stop to think, you know.
Weird. I can't imagine that this makes a difference, but I was playing on Normal difficulty back then. Sorry its taking you so long, I don't know why.
What are the causes that cause the runs to end? Because, sometimes my runs end even though there are no monsters there to kill me. EDIT: Nvm, I'm dumb.
BTW, I think endless mode was bugged. I've searched online and there are clearly achievement for "start the game in endless mode" which I don't think I've seen that achievement after I finish the game and start another one.
there are 2 things that could end a run either you're killed by a monster or out of time you can't stop to think you could eat a food for bonus time there is an upgrade that adds 50% effect when eating food
There's really only one way you can die, that's running out of time, i.e., being pushed off the left edge of the screen. Monster attacks don't "injure" you, there's no health in the game, they just cost you time (push you to the left).
I think it's a good thing people are comparing your game to DR. It means your game has tons of potential and has quality. Remember though, DR took a couple of updates before it became the Juggernaut it is today. You have a formula that's working well, keep it up and you'll do just fine. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve. - Can we get a official word from you if there is an "endless mode"?
Why are you comparing this game to DR?! It's 100% different. Seriously. It's like comparing Super Mario Brothers with Super Crate Box... The fights are different, the matching mechanics are completely different, the upgrades work different, presentation is completely different. There is no similarity at all. And I have and like both games. Although this one gets me hooked a ton more. Can't stop playing even after reaching the 10.000000.
Because it's a puzzle game where you make matches to generate effects that help your RPG character. That makes it more similar to this than 99% of the other games in the App Store.
It is weird. My experience with unlocking all the classes and such was much closer to yours than the others who are having such a hard time. I just killed all the boss monsters I could with swords and started a new game after 3 or even 2 unlocks. Anyhow, back to the game/topic at hand.
i was very skeptical about this game at first glance, but the TA members in this thread pretty much gave me no choice but to try it. This is by far one of my favorite quick play games on the app store. i have a few questions for the Dev (if hes in this forum) - Are you planning on adding more ranks, objectives, bonuses to accomodate new ranks?
I can see how you could unlock DR faster if you just grind and don't even try to play the game, just go for unlocks and quit and restart when you get them. But then that seems hugely boring, and it's still going to take many hours. I agree, though, back to 10000000. Sorry about that.
Finished the game in less than 4 hours. Upgraded everything before i actually finished it. Great game. I hope the developer will continue to support and update the program.
