Game Modes Suggestions My suggestions (some are from other ppl earlier in thread: 1 - Allow those that are not too good at fast-paced games but still like your game by: - Have a game mode with either hit points or limited number of moves - running in halls is still same, where you can still match on the fly - when you encounter a monster or door or chest, player stops moving, every match causes him to move towards left 2 - Allow multiple users on same device by: - having 3 or more save slots - this will help out with 3 below 3 - Give people a reason to play after clearing the "normal" game by: - having different character classes that are unlocked after clearing the game (or available from the very beginning - I know some people hate having to unlock things) - the "normal" is called Paladin or Holy Knight or something that can use magic and weapons - then have classes that are "Hard" such as: - Knight: Magic is only half as effective and upgrades to that branch are nerfed - Mage: Swords are only half as effective and upgrades are nerfed - then have classes that are "Insane" such as: - Halfling: you only get two item slots - Elf or Ranger: adds an icon for bows that hits close enemies less and far enemies more - this might seem beneficial, but its not because now you have an extra icon on the board that will screw with trying to match anything - I'm sure there are other class ideas, such as adding an icon for food, basically any added icon should make game harder 4 - add gamecenter support for highscore junkies and those wanting replay Thats it for now.
To those with a problem levelling, I.e all missions complete but you don't get levelled up - I had this issue, deleted and re installed. To avoid the issue, when you level, On the missions screen when it tells you the level unlocked, wait for this to dissapear after two seconds before exiting to the base.
He just thanked the developer for gifting the game, I don't see why you're giving him such a hard time. Some people have a million times more money than others, it's not "bragging" to say that the $1.99 is an issue for him.
Found a glitch for Master Explorer achievement. I finished the level with 2,493,630 points but didn't unlock it (says I needed 2,400,000). I'll try again and cross my raw and bloody fingers.
I had this problem more than once but I believe to have found what is causing it. When the screen starts to turn white, your game is considered to be over. You can still match tiles and earn points until the summary screen turns up. The points you earn after the white screen/game over and the display of the summary screen will not count towards your objectives but do count for your final score. Somewhat confusing... I finished the game now which is awesome overall. But at the moment there is zero incentive to keep playing. The easiest and most straight forward would be to add Gamecenter Leaderboards for now.
So I finished all objectives right through Hero and have 8 million + points. Since there is nothing else for me to do, it seems that I can't accumulate 10,000,000 points for freedom. Is they right? Is there anything else left for me todo? What happens at 10,000,000?
Sure, there's something else for you to do, score 10,000,000. Keep trying. Objectives have nothing to do with scoring. You win.
I didn't even mention I couldn't afford it in the email. The email asked what they were going to add later on, I never asked for anything. Also when I said "How freaking awesome is that?!", I didn't mean how awesome it was for me to get a code, I meant how awesome it was for the developer to be that nice. Hey, but you read some of my post, though, so good job!
They really should change the title of the game. If I was browsing down the appstore, theres no way I would think that something labeled as a gigantic number would actually be a puzzle/dungeon crawler.
Finally just cracked 12 million. Incredibly intense run by the end of it; I wasn't even paying attention to my score until after I died. I think the best way to have a shot at 10 million or above is to use all of the potions that increase your score. If you've upgraded your equipment all the way and trained your character as much as you can, the added buffs the monsters get from the potions don't make that much of a difference. Many thanks to Gabrien and the Dynamic TA Duo for getting the word out about this one! Best purchase I've made in a long time.
@ the dev: if you change anything about the controls, please include an option to switch them back to how they are now - I think they work fine as is. Also the library sounds like a good idea. Gamecenter achievements and high score table would be good too. I've finished this on iPad, now playing it again on iPhone! Great game.
I just finished the last objective and got a score of over 17 million. At the end of the credits it said I unlocked endless mode, but I don't see anything new on the screen. Am I missing something? This is such a good game. It's pretty awesome some dude made this masterpiece on nights and weekend. For my money, there are few puzzlers at any price and on anynplatform that match the fun of this one.
This is an interesting idea. Agreed, though I think there's still some incentive--trying to score a higher score than your own high score.
Yay free! Seven hours gametime ,13 mill scored on breakout run. Awesome game, everybody should get this!
Echoing praise for this game. I think the name is epic. And the dev has some guts for running with it. Finished in 6.5 hours. And now what? Got any more games on the burner dev?
Finally FREEEEEEEEE 14.8 million forgot to take a screen shot to save the score T T awesome game really fun I tried dungeon raid after but didn't like it like 10 million :S
