    Guys, stupid question

How do you level up exactly is it by doing objectives or beating your high score or just playing ?

By earning experience, as far as I understood.

Yes. But in later runs, you'll earn much more points in the same time.

Awesome game even though I tend to hate match-3 games :)

I agree, this is my only grape. I am playing this on an iPad and quite often the controls are not as responive as I feel they should be. I try to move some tile up but the game tries to put it to the left. It then takes some time to get it to where I a wanted it to go in first place. This can be really annoying if the action is up...
I don't know if this is (new) iPad specific. I may try it on my iPhone 4 to compare.

Anyways, I'd love iCLoud support so I could continue my game on the phone and vice versa.

I'm happy I downloaded this, really good game. I wouldn't put it at Dungeon Raid level yet, but DR needed many updates over a decent amount of time to get to "best iOS game ever" for me. Considering this is just phase 1, I'm really excited about this.

Some of the unresponsiveness seems to also come from the time it takes to actually go through the animations of completing a match, and the new tiles to drop. I don't see a way around that if what you're trying to move could end up getting influenced by the drops.

I would love to see a 10000001 (or 20000000?) that has a hit point model instead of a timer. (Unless this is the other game mode that the dev mentioned he was thinking of building in and I didn't grasp it right.)

The other thing I would suggest is using ANY one of the in-game images (like the character) as the icon instead of that giant head, or whatever that is!

    Well done, sir, well done.

I think the responsiveness issue, specifically the issue of tiles moving horizontally when the intention is to move vertically and vice versa, can actually be solved by making the touch interface slightly less sensitive. Here's what I think actually happens: currently the rows/columns react to even a minute roll of the finger along the touch screen. When we are rushing in particular, we aren't even aware that we rolled our finger slightly before beginning an actual sliding movement, so occasionally this initiates the row/column movement without us being aware, in an undesired direction. If the sensitivity was lowered to a point where it would take an actual sliding motion to initiate the movement of tiles as opposed to merely a finger roll, I think it would solve the problem.

I found a bug in one of the 'mission' goal things. I believe it was called Lumberjack. I was to use three axes in one run.
However, it was marked as complete after using three random items, none of which were axes. I had used scrolls and food to clear spaces for new axes to come in, so I deliberately avoided using axes. Just wanted to pass that along.

Great game, by the way. Both my wife and I bought it, and we're both hooked!

Though i'm not an rpg-gamer at all, this one i bought because of the
hype and that Gabrien made the thread. But i do like match3 games.
Addictiv as hell, though my end has come now with 6.5 mill as Hero.
No chance to get further for me. I invested around 10-12 hours and
i'm gonna delete it and start from scratch.
    5 stars and highly recommended.

I noticed this as well. It also seemed to happen once or twice with other objectives. The only consistency I noted was that the not-really-accomplished objective was always the bottom-most of the three.

After finishing the game in a little under 4 hours, and enjoying every minute of it, I concluded that the only addition that would add to the game's replayability would be GC leaderboards and achievements. I know this has already mentioned by myself and others.

Seems like there would be tons of possibilities--best single-run score, career points (and career matches, gold, etc.), and all sorts of achievements. Obviously the current lack of GC hasn't stopped a lot of us from loving 10000000; it would just be an awesome addition.

    Thanks again, Luca.

To the dev: Do you plan on adding harder missions (rooms) in the future, or something like a new game+ mode?

Pause button would be fantastic, after reading this thread and the TA review I really want to get this, but the lack of a pause button is really putting me off. Especially as the game seems so fast paced. :)

If you have to, you can pause by double tapping the home button.

I've completed the game and only wanted to pause 3 times that I remember. I either turned off the screen or just let him die. It's really not a big deal and FAR from an issue that should stop you from playing such a great game.

i just got the Lumberjack 2 quest complete, without using any items, so that quest must be bugged. glad tho, cause i didn't want to wait to collect 3 to use :)

given that this is the dev's second iOS game, and likely an early shot at game development in general, i'd say all of you asking for updates and new modes should probably chill on that for a while. the dude has a full-time day job and worked on this as a hobby eating up most, if not all of his spare time for about a year.

coming from someone who just got into programming and game dev myself, it takes a shit ton of work to do anything at all. seriously, anything. i'm sure we'd all love to see more content and updates, but let the man work out the bugs, take a breather, and enjoy this experience. for a second game ever, this app kills it.

i'm right there with you guys, and will love to see where this game goes - in time.

This game has taught me that I suck VERY badly at matching tiles. Even after getting all the time extending perks I could afford, it still takes me countless tries to even break a minute!

Luck. Or equip the 2 alchemy potions that increase 15% score each, the double shield potion also helps since you should have maxed out your experience and upgraded everything.
