Evil Rats are still dropping them due to an errant space in a data file, but otherwise I believed them to be eradicated. At least, in games started clean after receiving the update, I believed them to be eradicated.
they do indeed. if you apply for the developer forum here, i think it shows up as an option in your User CP.
encountered bug that i have not seen before - two enemies can take one square. also wand is working strange, after some time it starts to deal 1-3 dmg only, after enhancement it works ok, but than again deals very small dmg. hmm, now it's +3 wand and it makes 0-1 dmg usually. well, this it very annoying.
Over the last few days I've rewritten our tile structure and, to a lesser extent, our turn system to correct instances where monsters walk on top of each other. A few other things broke in the process, but this will be corrected in 1.08. As far as the Wand goes, in 1.06 it was rebalanced to do full damage when you are at full energy, and to do less damage as you approach 0 energy. Overall the weapon is slightly more powerful at full energy, but was balanced so that it wasn't unquestionably better than other weapons.

I've gotten some vague reports in the last few days (1.06 and 1.07) that resistance-modifying items have been behaving weirdly, so I'll be looking in to this heavily before 1.08.
More like you just need to mix up wand, physical weapon and skills a bit more frequently. Like I said, the wand has become more powerful when it's at full power.
Is it just me or are the load times a bit longer now, between levels and startup load. Not extremely longer but maybe 10-15 seconds longer. iPhone 3GS iOS 4.01
Huh, that's weird, I've been noticing an overall reduction on my load times, especially while the progress text is reading "Map Doodled". You wouldn't happen to notice a specific phase that's gotten slower, by any chance?
Seems to me it's the first half of the progress "bar" that's taking longer. I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can be more specific.
On closer inspection it's the middle that seems to be taking the time. I'm seeing "Map doodled" and "Tiles wrought" for longer than before. Thanks to OS4 I'm now well used to my 3G moving like a fat kid in a gym class so it's not a big deal.
