I've been seeing this bug where as soon as I beat the genie, the game freezes up. If I exit and restart it, I start at the beginning of the level. I'm reinstalling it to see if it makes a difference.

Also, we're pushing a new version today I believe (Wes can confirm) that includes lots of good stuff. New iPad version, at least one new item, and a whole slew of balance changes. This definitely will mark the biggest balance patch ever for 100 Rogues. Item drops have been dramatically re-worked, and now there's a table for both the Bandit Hole and the Dungeon. Also, we found some errors in the way experience was being doled out before. It should be much smoother now beyond level 5. -Keith
bug? im still experiencing my share of bugs with the Ipad version. not nearly as many.. but im still getting random invisible tiles, still getting monsters walking on top of each other and yesturday i just opend a chest wich dropped nothing.. but something invisible was shining on the ground and i couldnt pick it up. whats bothering me is i miss WAY too often for it to be normal. i mean once and a while sure i can buy that.. i was fighting something with Full dagger mastery and missed ELEVEN times in a row. wich killed my entire game. i had 2 rings of accuracy.. a +4 and a +2 . my dagger was +3 dagger of accuracy with Mastery at 3. there is no way i should miss something ELEVEn times a row. it was probably one of the best games ive ever had. i was stocked with potions. full mana full health and like 5 heal meals and roasted food. i was like YA im so downing satan.. and 1 enemy used up ALL my potions and some of my heal meals. and even with full healing i cant out heal any damage if i miss all the time.. there has to be something wrong here. especally thoes red demons. they hit me for like 28 i heal for 35.. they hit me for 28. i heal for 35.. i cant gain a foot hold and i miss every hit (on this game) normally its not an issue. i just thought i'd bring it up to see if anyone else has had this issue.
I can confirm something, but not quite that. Tomorrow it looks like the push will be made, assuming I don't hit any major roadblocks in submitting the App as a Universal App for the first time, or with any of the last few UI redesigns (the final score tally is the only thing left to be done from scratch at this point). As for new items, I can confirm one brand new consumable item and 2 very cool variant items of existing consumables will exist in 1.05 Also of note: Big stability improvements for people that check their stats frequently An attack button for those times you want to be extra careful where you tap Tapping outside one of the difficulty selection buttons will return you to the main menu Less of Note: Another phase of requirements gathering, design and refactoring is nearly complete, allowing for an imminent influx of new items to accompany the shopkeeper.
any word on what to do about this weapon focus bug I posted previously? tried a reinstall and still having the issue on iphone4 btw
It'll never be finished and that's what the dev wants and it depends on what device you're running it on.
Shop is apparently going to open the update after the forthcoming one. So that will be 1.0.6 if I can still count. I think 1.0.5 has been submitted (any Dinofarm boys wish to comment?) and so that means the shop is drawing closer. Echoing previous comments, will 1.0.5 solve the Weapon Focus bug? And when do we get to see the Monster Comp entries????
I have one too and I haven't had a crash since 1.02 As far as 1.05 goes, I thought it was submitted according to what they said. But we haven't heard from them in a bit and usually they push a test version out and I haven't seen sign of that at all.
I've been helping along the beta and there is no test version. I assumed that means they have not submitted it, but who knows?
Update: Although no major roadblocks were really hit, a lot of tiny polish items crept up of varying impact, and we took the weekend to scour the game for them rather than release first, prettify later. Along the way, the Weapon Focus bug has been fixed and the intro cutscene has been replaced with an in-engine version, so no more waiting for a video to load before being able to skip it. I'm also implementing an option in the preferences menu to just disable the cutscene altogether. So yes, sorry for the delay and the lack of updates, but the wait is worth it.
