I didn't spend any on IAP. I was tempted much like you though. In the end I didn't like so much content was behind IAP, even if permanent. Funny because I'm not normally one to take issue with such IAP.
Hmm alright, I'll have to think about it. I just want everything haha, but I don't wanna blow $13 on a single game
I don't know of any "teleporting ninjas" - there is the Fairy which has that as a skill, comes unlocked with the game. Edit: He must be referring to the enemies...
Well... it seems the IAP's are broken. I just purchased the Dinoman and it didn't unlock. It took my dollar, just doesn't allow me to use it. I suppose this is the nail in the coffin of 100 Rogues for me. I wanted to like it.. but it'd rather me despise it. Be warned.
Nope. I play the fairy as a melee ninja, teleporting around smashing everything to bits, defiantly a fun and effective way to play. The "fariy ninja" name is just a reference and for 100 rogues I just thought it was an interesting way to play a type-cast class.
Its a tactical puzzler broadly similar to last years masterful Hoplite; instead of direct attacks, you have to bump enemies off of the playing board with a variety of spells at your disposal, with every level spawning more (and nastier) opponents. as occult sumo wrestling
I loved 100 Rogues when I could get it to work. Hope this game is just as clever but a bit less buggy.
I've been testing the game for about 2 years and I can tell you it'll be a lot less buggy. For those whoe don't know the game: It is one of the best examples of emergent gameplay I've ever seen. A small example: You can e.g. place down ice and let monsters slide across it into the water (that's a relatively simple interaction). But then you could also place a flame down, then place ice so that it surrounds that flame, and then make a monster slide over the ice tiles into the flame. Then you could place an air vortex, let a monster slide across ice into the vortex, which then makes it fly into the air, an additional tile further, and maybe into a flame you placed before. You see where this is going, I think. Those are just 3 spells and they have a lot more depth to offer, but then there are right now 9 total spells in the game. And on top of that all the monsters have their own tactical abilities that also interact in tons of interesting ways with one another, the terrain, and the spells. It's a super-tight system, where every element truly has its place. If you want to see it in action, here's a video tutorial by the game's devs.
Can someone tell me, does any of the paid classes work on iOS I bought the big lizard already and he doesn't work..
News! Hey 100 Rogues fans. Lead designer here! It's been awhile! In case you didn't notice, Dinofarm Games has released another game since 100 Rogues, which was Auro: A Monster-Bumping Adventure, now available on iOS, Android, and Steam. We just wrote up a big thing about what we've been up to and what our plans are for the future. We hope you'll take a look and tell us what you think (I'll keep an eye on this thread). http://www.dinofarmgames.com/dinofarm-games-in-2017-part-1/ Thanks so much for your support, guys.
