Are combo scores recorded at all? On the topic of combo mode, Im glad to get my super special combo scrolls!
Nope, sorry about that. Schedule got all kinds of messed up shipping OS X, and player classes were the things I could safely work on while it got sorted (player classes can be culled out of a build at the drop of a hat, if need be. were I to have started changing changing a menu like High Scores, I wouldn't have been able to ship until it's done and I needed to be able to ship at any time). That's been my task today. I plan to ship over the weekend with the following: Fixes for Offering and Alchematize, which both suffer the same fatal flaw Challenge Mode rebalancings, and the option to buy scrolls after a game has ended Endless Mode's moon tileset / monster recolors A handful of other modest fixes for cosmetic bugs Challenge / Endless mode score filters in the high score table. Balance changes for Rogue-Bot and a few Hell monsters It will be very nice when the two builds are completely unified, and I don't have to keep checking every last thing between them.
Oh, forgot to mention: 10 new challenges, at long last, and another permanent in-game reward for their completion.
Slowpoke moment: it's out! Instant in app buy! I still love the tourist and still come back to it (it's just a novel idea playing as an ordinary person instead of a warrior or Mage lol) thought I still get butraped bad dungeon onwards. Can never get pass that. Any tips? (rogue difficulty, keep getting mobbed lol no matter how I try) The mystic is simply a blast to play! I love the fact I have so many damaging spells in contrast to the fairy. It's like playing turn based diablo XD What the hell does mutation potion do? Drinking it does nothing except make me glow a while? Throwing it does nothing either lol Sorry to hear about the bugs for necro I hope it gets fixed soon. While you're at it could you reduce the cost of health for the spells >_< I don't see how u can start right off the bat learning the nether bolt first cuz it costs so much health for mediocre damage. At level 1 rogue difficulty u get mobbed immediately and with no normal attack = die. Means I have to go straight for drain spell first. Which means the necro build order will always be the same no variety. Just my two cents
Also necro's revive skill, do I lose the entire ability? Can be relearned? What I that ability has 3 levels, do I lose all 3 levels or just one level of that skill?
Also just had this happen to me. Walked into 2nd level with 4 red rats. Had 10/12 mana. Threw 3 nets. Suddenly mana jumped to 23/25. Threw bomb. Threw second bomb. Drank mana potion. Mana returned to 10/12. Lol
I think Runes and Teleport tiles aren't getting cleaned up properly. So, whether you saw it or not, I think you stepped on an energy Rune.
To anyone using ios 5 beta, I found a work around to play and avoid crashing out...if you start a challenge level first, finish it then load the regular game, it will load without crashing...and don't multi task out, quit to main then exit the game or you'll lose your progress and crash again at switching back in..
For those of us not yet using iOS 5 Beta (whoever that guy is), what happens when you try to play the game on it? If it's crashing every time you try to play as a non-monster class, I've been seeing that issue on OS X, and I've got a fix in the works.
Basically it crashes everytime you start anygame with any character..get to touch screen to load and it drops to desktop. However, if I run a challenge level first I then can load any player or monster class and it runs fine, that is barring multitasking, if I hit the home button and go back in it will load the level then crash back to the homescreen soon as the welcome back to gamecenter banner drops... Then you go back in and try and relOad and it will crash again at the touch to load screen..having to go back and start another challenge level to get back in again. If I quit to main then exit, I can get back in and continue... Hope that helps?
Running iOS 5, I was able to load a game with the fairy wizard, but the game did crash after the game center banner dropped as stated above. Tried it a couple of times and it's repeatable (the crashing after the game center banner).
newbie question Hi all, Im new to 100 Rogues, but not new to roguelikes. Having only played through a little, Im confused about what the giant ampersand is. Perhaps it will come clear in time. Thanks for any light you can shed

My publisher has been asking that I do a better job at explaining this to players. I can say that (for this update), nothing bad will come of stepping on them. But! As a player of roguelikes, you are surely familiar with unidentified potions, items that could make you briefly invincible or prayers greatly anger your god, none of which are spelled out for you, or can even be known with certainty before identifying or just trying the item / potion / prayer, etc. If (when?) 100 Rogues adds more stuff like this, do you think we should go out of our way to make sure players understand everything they see, as soon as they see it? Or! Is part of the fun the joy of discovery? We tend to favour the latter beyond the game's core mechanics.
