Crash Kart, crazy tanks, the creeps, fieldrunners, hydro tilt, tiki towers, snail mail, trism, toy bot diaries, and powerboat challenge are all good apps that you appear not to have.

Don't get too much, save some money for games that are released next year. If you got $50 worth of games just this week, you won't be able to play all those games at the same time anyway. :)

And two recommendations from me: THTouch (if you like Texas Hold'em poker) and Frenzic.

You should also save some money for the 28th, when new apps and updates will be flooding in.

You've already got what you wanted. Play some of yor new games and wait for something you want. No where does it say you have to spend all your money at once!

I do believe developers can charge for updates. I believe I've read about a developer who did that, but he got angry comments from customers. And even more now when everybody is used to free updates, if someone would charge for an update there's a good chance the iTunes reviews will become more negative. So even though I think paid updates are possible, they're very unlikely. :)

    Dont waste your money

I made the mistake of spending all the money i had at the begginning, and now i am stuck with a bunch of crap apps that i paid 10$ for and i cant buy the ones i want. wait a while and buy new apps as you see them come out and buy the ones you want, and not the ones that other people tell u to buy which you probably wont like

    iCopter - .99$

I'd wait until the 28th. I think a lot of developers will lower their prices to try and squeeze out some more christmas sales.

Those are some of the games I've been playing lately, and I like them. I have to agree with spmwinkel though, you should wait until 2009 when more games come out :)

If I'm not mistaken, only way they can charge for updates is to make a new game with "updated" version, but it has to be considered a new game, or a new developer (a la Critter Crunch), or a series, such as Toy Bot Diaries 1,2, and 3.
I don't believe they can actually charge for updates to a normal app which is 99.9% of the time.
If they change their app or is under a new developer, I say f*k 'em. You've already given them you're money, don't do it again. I certainly won't pay again for Critter Crunch just because it's under a new developer even if it's updated.
