Thanks. Was literally coming here to post I answered my own question. Potions hit level 10 and I have a lot more options now.
How do new recipes unlock? I am sending 2 of my heroes into the third area and the other 2 are in the 2nd but nothing new has popped up to make....

Really enjoying this game. Definitely one that has stayed on my phone the longest.
Loving the balance between sending out the heroes, crafting the items needed for harder quests, but also selling items to keep the money flowing....
