You get it from a main quest, after that you can use it whenever you want.(except in the city's ofcourse) but its awsome looking down at all those...

what i did was, just run the f*#k past those big ass trolls before they kill you. you will eventually get to your destination.
I did bought the ring of Feathers, Jump +25, Fall damage resist +25 :D
im level 20 right now, I actually only use Sword and Bow, magic feels kinda weak to me, but it could be because I haven't spend any time into it....
Like iVaro says, Abondon the Tournament quest and you'll be able to return to North Aven

got the same problem, crashing after the thief quest. already tried reinstalling, I really think it has to do with the Thief Quest in North Aven....
After the side mission with the Thieves that you have to kill underground. I cant fast travel or go through the gates to north Aven! My game...
