Yes I use that, tbh most of my time is spent trying to get the monster in view and I seem to spend a huge amount of time with the camera staring...
After 2 days of constant trying, I've finally done the first set of tutorials. Ending with killing a Giadrome (spelling?) I had to retry this...
It's my own fault really, I should have known but I couldn't resist trying.
Hate to say it but I think I'm going to delete this, which pains me deeply as I really wanted to get into it and tbh I can't afford to throw away...
I'm loving this game, it's really fun and the graphics are nice but I'm really struggling a huge amount with the controls, mainly the damn camera....
It's already been said about 20x in this thread, yes you can backup your save even if you're not jailbroken. Use ifunbox or iTools. on another...

There's really not that much text at all, and what there is sets the atmosphere and feeling of the game which is nice imo.

I'd go with Monster Hunter. But DQ8 is a great game too. ..if you can live with the camera controls.

I admit I'm struggling a bit with the camera but I put that down to me and my disability. Saying the combat is flawed? Have you even played this?
Perhaps you're right but I for one am quite struggling with the camera positioning and it's detracting from such a great game.
