Hrm, I hadn't thought about that. You have to have a open slot to craft an aircraft, I wonder if being rewarded one from an event puts it straight...
Your not limited in regards to how many aircraft you own, your only limited by how many you can have out at one time.
The collectors amongst us would disagree with you on the quality of the new events reward :)
