I do wish some of the UI things were more snappy. There is a noticeable pause while going into planet view mode, which gets tedious for a game...

FF3 is way hardcore. It is an nes game after all. A lot of rpg contrivances exist that will frustrate many. Still a fun little game, I'd say 7-7.5...
Can't you just zoom out to make it look 'less terrible'? low res sprites look better zoomed out.
