Happens to me sometimes too... I usually have 2 to 3 giants tanking it out and i noticed sometimes there are enemies inside the keep.
Same here... Me and my fiance (now my wife!) played this a lot before, and we still play it from time to time. Fun times everytime we juke it out...

Yup... one of the best roguelike on the iOS. Definitely highly recommended.
