With +1 on Hit Combo, the only time you need to purposefully do near miss combos is to keep the combo counter running. That is still way safer...

No it doesnt. The videos you see in youtube on the PSP with lots of blood is a tweak. What you see in MHFU iOS is exactly how it is on the PSP...
