Yes, I may have misspoke...Line, Fireball, and Disarm do not kill specials but I guess Teleport, while not killing the special, will clear it off...
Banish will kill one but without any credit. Not sure how it works when there are multiple specials.

All of the specials' stats are relative to where you meet them. They'll all become much nastier as you progress, just like the regulars.
