A lot of people don't understand anything about TV's or monitors. :P Other than more p's equals more better of course.
I'd actually prefer a smaller monitor with the same resolution and a higher pixel density. Some of those tiny LCD TV's that can do 1080p look nice...
30", I wish they made bigger. My monitor just seems normal to me now. edit: Bigger as in higher resolution, I don't really care about size.
My monitor displays 2560x1600. 1080p is a significant downgrade from that.
