I improved a lot when I switched from the standard 3 to 2. The controls just feel more 'solid' and tight to me this way.
Yeah, I like this idea as well. I'd probably prefer the set difficulty be Hard rather than Harder, but that might defeat the purpose.

For me at least, the shape of the slopes do change every midnight. Sometimes it's a very subtle change and other times more noticeable.
