Simply use usb cable hook up to a pc or mac with your itunes account let it sync then back up if your device fails after jail break you should...
Apple is trying to crack down on jail broke phones and ipods Kind of like movie companies crack down on torrent sites and bootleg movies
Dont jail break than apps are cheaper than phones and i know people who it has worked great for and others that it messed up their device
