I'd suggest that the bux investment is totally worth it. I burned the bux on two pearjets, opened london and moscow. Closed all non c3 airports...
Main Menu -> Flight Crew Button -> type toucharcade in the flight crew name, let it register you. Done.

sounds like your trying to place your level 2 aircraft at a level 1 airport. make sure the airport your placing it at has a blue(level 2 airport)...

Update, woot! Thank god zoom level is now saved on the map!
Upgraded mohawks and any class 2 aircraft can easily make the jump between lima and most of the class 3 cities in north america.
I'm in the same boat, my entire operation is in north/south america :) Thankfully toucharcade is a guaranteed win for the aircraft so I'm not too...
