At least he's frank and honest about ragequitting. I'm sure some people on TA ragequit too but they're not man enough to admit it.
The card you get is BEFORE he/she fought you and won't be updated after the fight unless you happen to meet the same opponent again.
edit: Sorry, didn't know they aren't Capcom's videos so I retract my comment about the opponents being super stupid and easy to beat.

I agree, exhibition match tends to be more entertaining since players don't really have something to lose (or win?). It's in the competition...
