Well I thought anything in gears stack. No idea. I'd like a Dev to answer this because if they don't stack I can make something better!!
Setup.
I think this is my best.
I average now 50k $$$ per play. Does anyone achieve better than this? If someone does, tell me your setup :)

The other setup that I was talking about.
Chest opening setup. I have gears that allow me up to 120% more chests but I prefer to use gear that help me find rarer gear and cards.
My artifacts setup. If I have a rare artifact missing, I can usually get it by Max 3 tries.
My dig setup. My super explosive droll card has only 2 stars so I'm better off using the purple one but then I waste my gear to make them...
With my setup, the more stuff explodes, the more precious ores appear. I have 70% more powerful grenades so let me tell you that everything gets...

With this setup I average about 25-35k / play. As you can see the key is to make precious stuff appear without having to break it! Then sell it...
Edit : never mind all that. A good question : if I finish olympus can I still play it to get the artifacts? Or I gotta wait another week?
