You could easily play this with one finger. Movement is with the virtual "compass" in the bottom right. There are no complex gestures or nothing...
I would say this has better production values than most. Many roguelikes are relatively unattractive. This, on the other hand, is highly polished....
As far as I know, the best thing you can do is arrange them where they aren't in the way or have something else walk through it first.
