BTW - I do like the idea of two-color cards that could use either color (maybe any combo of the two colors) - that would be pretty powerful/flexible.
Yes, 2-color cards require both colors, i.e., 3 red and 3 blue. Much like gold cards are all colors and require all four colors.
As Armadi said, it gives you a low cost / common creature that is randomly pulled from a list. Keep playing and you should see other creatures...
