[2], I would post something like this. ^ (I don't like the way FF I and FF II have been ported, though.)
Summoner Wars and... er... TheEndApp.
It's a platformer but not a traditional platformer. You can use a d-pad to move left/right, but you need to perform touch gestures as you control...
- Dead Trigger - Kingdom Rush - Darkside
You should try LostWinds games. Not as much action as Swordigo, but it's a very catching and polished game anyway. Metroidvania-esque world map...
Very good overall, but I had to change the gamescreen size for last stages, as the controls got in front of some crucial points.

Awesome game, it definitely should have more attention.
I never played Spinball, but CD, 4-EpI and 4-EpII are all great and well worth their prices. Get all of them if you can.

You're late, buddy. There's another poll for this week: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=139320
- Disco Kitten - Temple Run: Brave - Eager Beaver
You may want to check Great Little War Game or Tiny Troopers. If you're thinking about first-person shooters, Modern Combat 3 and 2 are great.
Game Dev and Mega Mall are their best games imo. I didn't like Pocket Academy very much.
- Project 83113 - Tiny Troopers - Pixely People Making Movies - Catapult King
There is also Legend Of Master 3. http://itunes.apple.com/app/legend-of-master-3/id517754511?mt=8
I would vote for Mega Run, but Inferno+ just deserves to win this poll. What an awesome game.
@rhythmic: Mage Gauntlet!
- Plague Inc. - Mega Run - Inferno+
