It actually is very good. Very reminiscent of house of the dead. Controls are very accurate and you are certainly rewarded for headshot precision....
I think the game is very good. The control scheme is not my to my preference, but was easy to master and hardly makes the game unplayable.

More of an over the shoulder than FPS but Shadow Gun works great with MFI controls. Basically Gears of War for mobile.
Really want to give this more of a shot but we need away to adjust the position of the controls. Right next to each other is not working so good...

I agree this game does not benefit from the MFI controls. Especially because it seems you're unable to smash or lob using MFI button controls....
