Yes, it's currently impossible to have fun playing on ranked match, I'd suggest you to play only friendly match until next update.
Evil Ryu is way better than Akuma imo. For myself, Akuma's ultra is almost useless, I barely use it, and Evil Ryu's ultra is the same of Ryu's....
