The skill tree can be reset at will and you are welcome to try any build that you want, but it shouldn't be possible to completely max up one...
Update with proper orientation/rotation and other fixes should be up.
There should be enough stars for all weapons and gear. Most gear is usable by all classes while weapons are class specific.
