Yep, the exp is indeed insane. Bumped my Cloud to level 40 and the rest a very close behind. Even Sephiroth is now 30-ish

Black magics are dependent upon your "Magic" stat. Equipping with a Javelin won't buff that up. Try rod-based weapons instead

I guess it all boils down to the specific realm. Pretty sure Tifa in FF7 realm with 30-40% stats boost would kick Tidus's ass anytime of the day....
