After two breeds with Equinox/Solstice, I got two Solstice. Switched to a Equinox/Blue Moon, got another Blue Moon. Argh. I want my second Equinox! :p

Yes. Blazing plus water or any water hybrid (swamp, seaweed, mud, etc) will lead to an Equinox. Only one day left though!

I just got my equinox last night with blazing and mud. Keep breeding and I'm sure you'll get what you need :)
