Already got a +10% Learning Experience Blood Amulet item so it's not that rare.
Crimson Beach is really easy so you shouldn't have any problem even with the boss. Dracula's Mansion is a bit harder but not that much....

You need to hold on until you get Heine, she'll heal as a support character. Until then, buy potions and sell everything you can.
You only gain Upgrade points every 2 levels. You will find them in the Stats Icon.
