Well you get a key for every 500 orbs you collect, so farm orbs. You can do that by doing easy demons or quickly beating 5-7 star levels.
Well the chests are random so you'll get it eventually it's just in another chest. Just farm keys.
2.2 better have more chests cause my keys are starting to pile up

Beat the shadow guantlet. That'll give you 3 shadow shards. Bonus shards are how many you have for all your shards, like if you have at least 3...

Get diamonds by doing quests and daily levels. The quests refresh every 8 hours, so if you really try you can get at least 90 diamonds every day....
