This mostly seems like a SE problem. I've seen an iPad mini with the same issue. Hope they're gonna fix this ASAP

I got it to work! You don't need to login, just select a character and the timer below starts counting down to a new game :-)
Same here, it aint working and that's a real shame
I'm really liking it but the amount of freezes is beyond insane, I'm playing on a SE and It freezes about 3 times during each battle, it's ridiculous!
Long time D3 player here and this is perfect on my iPhone SE. Albeit a bit small but great nonetheless
