Maybe u can access the dip switch menu on esp and dodon if u remove the nvram. Make the changes then add again. Because both of mine work...
My esp ra de definitely works. Im playing it now. Add it with the nvram and completely restart imame. It should work correct way round.
Even when u access the service menu the dip switch option doesnt open. sorry no way to change.
I have set ALL in input menu to : COIN,3,2,1 START,6,5,4 Works well for me.
It does work just DONT change the red buttons
In each rom menu u can also increase the stick buttons from 2 up to 6
load a rom press start and coin to open the operator menu. U can either change controls for that game or ALL games

You need to use the nvram to get it working the correct way round. Also if it doesnt work upside down u have the wrong rom. PM me if u cant fix it.
If i remember correctly for games like pacman change the stick settings from 8 way to 4 way on the rom menu. Let me know if this works
