The gameplay looks fun, but the accelerometer control seems a bit shaky. Perhaps it's just the high-speed style.
Obviously owes a lot of it's inspiration to the Wipeout series, just hope there's also the option of touch controls as I'm not a fan of accelerometer racing.
This game without online is suck..
THey should learn with NFSU regarding how to do accelerometer controls right. When done like EA did with NFSU, there´s no better control method for racing games.
Also...online would be nice
Does that look like F-Zero X or what?
If future anti-grav racing is like that shoot me now...it's oh so pretty but bland as hell.
If Fatal Inertia had better track design and tighter controls we wouldn't be dealing with the sludge the wipeout generation has inspired. The F-Zero series has dumbed down innovation since it's inception, though track design still has some thought put into it. The only elements I see even comparable to F-Zero are the boost areas and the curved tracks...but that's still just one kind of track that F-Zero has in it's compliment of tracks. There seems to be almost no variation with this game. The Wipeout series is like Madden...same crap, different sparkly bits.
Just for comparison, in addiction to long winding tracks, Snail Mail has jumps and more distinct weaponry...even has a story. I may be coming down on this game a bit rough, but it isn't the first to clone wipeout for cash.
This looks like a direct competitor of Low Grav Racer. We'll see how it does...
I am really hoping it will exceed Low Grav Racer exponentially in terms of game play. While the latter looked great, it just didn't cut the mustard when it came to playing the damn thing.
This looks like someone took F-Zero's tracks and Wipeout's ships and put them in one game. Looks interesting, I hope it's better than Low Grav. That game was seriously disappointing.
seems to have hit the store.
